Labor Day is more than just the unofficial end of summer or a long weekend. It is a day to recognize and honor the hardworking men and women who have built, strengthened, and continue to drive our nation.

The roots of Labor Day date back to the late 1800s, when American workers began organizing and advocating for better working conditions, fair wages, reasonable hours, and the right to have a voice in the workplace. The first Labor Day celebration was held in New York City in 1882, and in 1894, Labor Day became a federal holiday.

At Staffing of St. Augustine, we are proud to celebrate the people who make our local workforce so strong. Every day, we have the privilege of connecting hardworking individuals with employers throughout our community, and we are grateful for the dedication, talent, and determination of the people we serve.

In observance of Labor Day, our office will be closed on Monday, September 7, 2026. We will reopen Tuesday, September 8, during our regular business hours.

Experienced Staff Accountant Needed - (only experienced candidates need apply)

We are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant. High-volume responsibilities for general ledger, journal entries, and monthly financial statements. Strong Accounting skills Accrual Accounting Required.

Other duties include posting assessments, capital contribution, and other fees;
Prepare monthly invoices or statements; posting interest and/or late fees to delinquent accounts; soft collections.
Ensure payments are posted correctly
Pays vendors and prepare checks.
Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
Verifies documentation (Certificate of Liability and W9 on each vendor).
Support Auditors with appropriate documentation, reports and adjustments.
Thorough knowledge of prepaid schedules, payables, monthly financials and accrual method accounting
Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
Excellent computer skills (MSWord and Excel), Data Entry, and Customer Service are essential for the key position.
Minimum AA Degree in Accounting or the equivalent in experience required.

Skills/Qualifications:
Tracking Budget Expenses, Attention to Detail, Thoroughness, Time Management, Analyzing Information, Vendor Relationships, PC Proficiency, Data Entry Skills, Accrual Accounting and Preparation of Monthly Financials a must, CINC and Avid Strongroom software a plus.

DATA ENTRY CLERK

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk and Customer Service Rep to join our team area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in our databases. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Data Entry Clerk will support various administrative functions and contribute to the overall efficiency of our operations.

Duties include but not limited to:

Accurately input data into various databases and systems, ensuring all information is up-to-date and correct.
Transcribe information from various sources into digital formats, maintaining high levels of accuracy.
Perform order entry tasks, ensuring timely processing of customer orders and requests.
Organize and maintain electronic files, ensuring easy access and retrieval of information as needed.
Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, data management, and administrative support to other departments.
Conduct regular audits of data entries to identify discrepancies and correct errors promptly.
Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve data entry efficiency.

Requirements

Proficiency in data entry with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
Familiarity with databases and experience in managing digital records.
Basic math skills for processing numerical data accurately.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience with order entry systems is a plus but not mandatory.
Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software applications.
Previous experience in administrative or clerical roles is preferred but not required.
