As Dock Dispatch your duties include, receiving phone calls from marine traffic; dispatching security via radio to the dock to assist in the arrival and departures of all marine traffic (excluding coke ships and RoRo ships.); logging such activity in a log book, as well as completing appropriate paperwork; monitoring security cameras, and monitoring traffic entering the dock.

The ideal gate attendant will observe, report and communicate all relevant information to the Facility Manager.
Main duties:
Monitor the main gate leading to the facility. Note any unusual occurrences and report them immediately.
Ensure all personnel visiting/entering the facility is authorized and have the proper credentials
Provide instructions/directions to visitors entering the facility
Logs and enters vehicle’s information in the company’s systems as truck drivers come in to pick up cars.
Minimum qualifications:
Basic computer knowledge
Customer Service skills
Positive attitude
Good work ethic
Good verbal and written communication skills
Flexible schedule (ideal but not a must).
Ability to pass criminal background and drug test.
Various shifts available!
