Our client, a large food distributor, in South Sacramento are seeking experienced order selectors to join their team. This position is a temp to hire which allows opportunity for growth and pay increases!

Responsibilities

· Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)

· Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)

· Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits

· Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization

· Operate Rear Rider Pallet Jack

· Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations

· Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves and pallet area

Requirements

· Able to sit, stand, bend, twist, and turn body as needed for 8-10 hours per day

· Able to lift up to 50 lbs pounds without assistance

· Have reliable transportation to and from work

· Good organizational and time management skills

Must be available to work on weekends!

Our client in Downtown Sacramento is looking to add a Material Handler to their growing production team. This opportunity is a contract to hire, and will move quickly for the right candidate. Are you ready to start a new chapter in your career? To be considered for this position; one must meet the following qualifications:

Responsibilities for Material Handler

• Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and products
• Move materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing areas
• Identify and label materials, and record their locations in the warehouse/on the shelves to maintain inventory
• Prepare finished products for shipment by identifying their location, then pulling, packing, and loading them
• Perform and report cycle counts
• Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines
• Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
• Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.

Qualifications for Material Handler

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-5 years of experience working in a warehouse setting or in logistics; experience in operating material handling equipment preferred
• Must be able to work well in a team
• Ability to follow instructions, and work independently with little guidance
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend and to lift heavy materials
• Ability to operate computers and relevant warehouse management computer software
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends
