CNC Fabrication Operator

Job Summary
Operate CNC Machines and perform quality checks to ensure customer satisfaction. Move product into and out of work cell with pallet lift or forklift. Must be able to use Calipers and record readings accurately. Must be able to check parts and ensure parts meet customer specifications. Must be able to lift to 50 pounds. Work overtime when necessary to meet production demands including 12 hour shifts and weekend shifts. Must have prior machining experience to apply.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Excel in a safety-based culture by ensuring that all work practices and company policies/procedures are followed.
• Maintain and improve housekeeping utilizing 5-S and TPM techniques.
• Follow company policies at all times.
• Be committed to good attendance.
• Work in a team environment and communicate effectively with other shifts during shift changes.
• Follow work instructions and accurately fill out quality and production records using ERP system.
• Report issues with production equipment and materials.
• Maintains time production records with use of EPR system.
• Responsible to verify parts during the shift on check fixtures& equipment.
Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year experience operating CNC Machines preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude.

• Read and understand blueprints, job sheets, work instructions and route tags.
• Utilize applicable measuring equipment, standard work instructions and control plans.
• Ability to operate forklift.
• Demonstrate ability to set up and operate VMC’s, HMC’s, 5 axis, and lathe equipment without supervision.
• Demonstrate ability to run equipment without breakdown and maintain productivity based on historical run times.
• Demonstrate ability to complete all applicable paperwork associated with this job title.
• Ability to adapt easily, accept new ideas, and equipment
• Individual is familiar with lockout/tagout and other safety related issues associated with this job title.
• Individual is familiar with the following procedures:
o QSP-13-01 Control of Non-Conforming Product
o QSP-13-01 Corrective and Preventive Action
o QSP-12-01 Inspection and Test Status
• Demonstrates basic computer skills
• Demonstrate basic math skills
• Must be able to multi-task
• Attention to detail
