These last few years have been tough on all of us (let's face it, 2020 wasn't the only dumpster fire!).

In a world divided and torn - only just beginning to face the demons we have allowed to become institutionalized we have all needed  .

I am naturally a business-y, analytical type. I want to see the figures behind everything. My motto is "if we can't measure it we can't manage it". Life, however, doesn't care about my motto.

This is what pure joy looks like in a 4 year old.

Simple, happy, balloon in hand.

My kid is ridiculously cute.

As we get older sometimes this kind of joy can feel elusive. What are the things that still bring out this level of   in you?

This kid (and his brother, and usually his dad) does it for me, but the mom answer feels like a bit of a cop out. Probably on an individual basis it's a quiet place outside with sunshine on my shoulders and a frozen margarita.
