**Just a friendly reminder to all of our dental assistants working in Connecticut that are registered with our agency.**

We want to remind you that dental assistants working in the state of Connecticut are required to take the ICE (Infection Control Exam) by April 1st 2019.. THIS MEANS THAT WE CAN NOT SEND YOU OUT TO AN ASSIGNMENT UNLESS YOU ARE ICE CERTIFIED AS OF APRIL 1ST, 2019! The application for the ICE can be obtained online at http://info.danb.org/apply

Once an application has been received and processed, a test admission notice (with instruction to schedule your exam) is mailed and also available in your online DANB account. To schedule (within 60 days of test admission notice) or reschedule an exam appointment visit www.vue.com/danb. The cost of the exam is $250 and is submitted as part of the application.

Joyce Turcotte of Professional Learning Services offers ICE preparation classes to help assistants review and pass the exam. If you'd like to take the course, contact our office and we will give you our own discount code.
