One of the greatest lies people can believe is that their hardest moments, struggles, or past failures define who they are or determine what their future can become. They do not. Every person was made with purpose, value, and the capacity to heal, grow, and flourish.

That is why supporting the physical, emotional, spiritual, and relational wellbeing of America’s warfighters, veterans, first responders, and families matters so deeply. Encouragement matters. Relationships matter. Hope matters. Reminding people they are not alone matters.

At LUKE, we believe whole person care helps people reclaim purpose, strengthen resilience, and experience more good days together.

Proud to support the National Border Patrol Museum’s Corporate Sponsorship Program as its inaugural sponsor. For nearly 30 years, LUKE has been honored to serve those who serve, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to help preserve this important history.

Today marks the 102nd anniversary of the U.S. Border Patrol, representing more than a century of service.

As we continue preserving this history, the National Border Patrol Museum is introducing our Corporate Sponsorship Program, with Staffing joining us as our inaugural sponsor.

For nearly thirty years, LUKE has provided healthcare staffing for the U.S. Government, supporting service members, veterans, first responders, and their families.

This partnership directly helps the Museum preserve the stories of the people who have served. We are grateful to LUKE for standing with us to keep this legacy alive.

This Memorial Day, we come together to remember and honor those who gave their all in service to our country.

At LUKE, our mission is deeply inspired by the sacrifices of service members who didn’t make it home, as well as the teammates who carried their legacies forward. Their courage lives on through the families they left behind, the brothers and sisters in arms who stood beside them, and the precious freedoms they fought to protect.

We are humbled to support warfighters, veterans, and their families. Our commitment to serving those who serve runs deep, driven by gratitude and respect for their sacrifices. Each day we strive to carry their legacy forward.

At LUKE, human flourishing means taking care of the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. For warfighters, veterans, first responders, and their families, mental health is central to readiness, resilience, and a meaningful life beyond the uniform, yet their service carries a heavy weight.

We can all help ease that burden. Checking in on someone's mental health doesn’t require perfect words, just genuine presence. Who in your circle might need to hear, "I’m here, and you don’t have to carry this alone”?

The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) provides a guide to recognizing warning signs and symptoms to identify someone who might be struggling: https://www.nami.org/warning-signs-and-symptoms/

Together, we can build cultures that normalize asking for help and prioritize whole-person care.

May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month.

Did you know? More people are diagnosed with skin cancer each year than all other cancers combined. 💙

For our warfighters, veterans, first responders, and their families, time spent outdoors is often part of the job, the mission, or the lifestyle that serves others. That commitment to duty shouldn't come at the cost of your long-term health.

Here are a few simple ways to protect your skin while staying mission-ready:
☀️ Apply broad-spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen every day—even on cloudy days
☀️ Seek shade during peak sun hours (10am–4pm)
☀️ Wear protective clothing, hats, and sunglasses
☀️ Check your skin monthly—early detection saves lives

At LUKE, we believe caring for the whole person—body, mind, and spirit—is an act of stewardship. Protecting your skin ensures you're there for the people who count on you for years to come.

Your call to action: Schedule that skin check you've been putting off or share this post with someone you love. One conversation could save a life.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month.

This article from the Defense Health Agency highlights how mental health is deeply connected to every dimension of well-being, from physical fitness and sleep to financial stability, relationships, and sense of purpose. When one area is impacted, others often follow.

For our nation’s heroes, resilience, strong support systems, and healthy habits all play a critical role in sustaining mission readiness.

Just as important: removing the stigma around seeking help. Prioritizing mental health is a sign of strength and a vital part of staying ready to serve.
