https://buff.ly/35YsLDY I can speak from my own experience that it is sometimes "unnecessary" to make a candidate wait so long just to hear that they're not selected for the job. And the worst part is to hear a vague reason of rejection. I believe that candidates should receive a constructive feedback of why they were not selected. It is not a set back but a set up to improve their self-assessment.

In the past, it was standard protocol to provide feedback and constructive criticism to candidates. In the current job market, feedback is offered sparingly—if at all.
