Homeless Shelter Aides Needed for Low Barrier Homeless Shelter out of Suffolk, VA beginning December 2025 for evenings, overnights, and weekend shifts.

Our sister Nonprofit, Rest Assured Foundation of Virginia is currently seeking passionate caring individuals who have experience working with vulnerable populations.

Must have a minimum of one year of experience working in a homeless shelter or similar setting.
Must be caring, compassionate, and committed
Must be familiar with the following:

Trauma Informed Care
Harm Reduction
Low Barrier Homeless Shelters
Person Centered Care
Housing First

Pay will be based on experience, hourly rate range is $18-$23

Quality Staffing Associates collaborated with Virginia State University and The Virginia Board for People with Disabilities for YLA 2025 (Youth Leadership Academy, 2025).

Our care support team lived on campus July 13th through July 17th. We want to thank VSU and VABPD for partnering with us. YLA 2025 was an informative and rewarding experience.

Congratulations again to the YLA Class of 2025! We enjoyed getting to know you and wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
