In the recruiting world, we often joke about searching for the elusive “purple squirrel” candidate — that perfect combination of experience, technical expertise, education, and culture fit that can sometimes feel impossible to find.
Recently, one of our recruiters took the challenge a step further and somehow managed to find a “purple squirrel with pink polka dots.” 🐿️
After celebrating the win (and creating a pretty entertaining graphic to mark the occasion), it became a fun reminder of what recruiting is really about: persistence, creativity, relationship building, and staying committed to finding the right fit — even when it seems unlikely.
Sometimes the perfect match really does exist.
