Hello! Aston Carter is seeking Bilingual Professionals to support our partner Nintendo of America in Redmond as a Translator & Interpreter! Our team is Aston Carter Onsite @ Nintendo. We are looking for individuals who share a passion for the video game industry and will work closely with the Nintendo's Product Testing Team.

Description:
*Performs translation and interpretation related to software development including bug logs, daily correspondence, game design documents, market research and white paper testing
*Acts as liaison with Japanese game developers and assists in scheduling and planning
*Actively engages in ongoing process improvement as well as personal development

Qualifications:
*Minimum of three years of related experience
*Highly proficient in verbal and written communication in English and Japanese (native level in both languages)
*Knowledge of video game software/hardware and industry strongly preferred
*Excellent understanding of Japanese business culture and etiquette

Education:
AA or higher in Language, Communication, Business, or equivalent
Pay: $32-50 (DOE). $32-40 for Non-Sr., and $41-$50/hr for Sr Translator

Schedule: Mon-Thurs. (9:00 AM - 6:15 PM) Fri. (9:00 AM - 3:30 PM) OT availability needed depending on business need
Contract: 11 months (mandatory 2 month break once contract terms are met with potential renewal once 2 month break is fulfilled)
Location: Redmond, WA (Hybrid/Onsite)

Aston Carter is looking proactively to screen Game Testers for A large Tech clients' product testing department in Redmond. Must be fluent in English and Portuguese or French (Written and Verbal). Spanish bilingual candidates may apply as well. Strong computer skills with Windows are also expected.

Description:
An individual in this position will work with other testers to assess pre-release videogames to identify all errors within the game for correction prior to the release of the game to the public.
*Identify any spelling or grammatical errors within the text of the or versions of games
*Responsible for locating errors, flaws, glitches, etc. within unreleased games
*Document errors to be corrected
*Testers work in teams with both standard testers and bilingual testers.
*The environment is casual yet professional. There is no face to face customer interaction so a casual dress code is allowed.

Pay:

Pay: $20/hour (days)
Schedule: 6:00 AM to 2:40 PM (Monday-Friday)
Length: 1-2 month project
Duties:
* Working in a warehouse environment packaging and preparing products for shipment.
* Assembly line work to include opening cases of product, inserting product into boxes, performing visual inspections of product, labeling and putting cases onto pallets, and performing duties within a rotation system of assigned positions on the manual line.
* Preparing mixed case orders for shipment involves picking and verifying products.
* Receiving product, unloading trucks, and moving products to appropriate area of warehouse
* Duties require efficiency, flexibility, organization (attention to detail), and respectful communication with others.
