This is full time, 1st shift position working 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday -Friday (an occasional Saturday may be required).

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Organize and lead daily team activities for approx 30-35 associates.
Reports and resolves shortages, damages, and other discrepancies.
Ensure proper equipment and tools are available and in good working order.
Ensures the proper training is completed for all department associates.
Obtains and files documentation/acknowledgements for required training.
Provide assistance to client's Supervisors as directed.
Assist management in meetings.
Responsible for ensuring team is achieving goals and objectives.
Ensure adherence to workplace safety polices.
EDUCATION
High school diploma or GED required.
EXPERIENCE
2-3 years of warehouse experience, preferably working with an automotive manufacturer/distributor.
1 year experience as a Team Lead preferable, but may be willing to train dependent on background and experience.
5S and/or LEAN manufacturing a plus!!!
SKILLS
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Experienced with problem solving and conflict avoidance/resolution.
Displays team leadership abilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work in a warehouse environment and subject to working around power trucks such as fork lifts, etc.
The noise level in the work area is usually moderate
