A little introduction and the story behind J Danielle…

For those of you who don’t know me, I’m the founder of J Danielle Household Staffing, and this year marks 20 years since I started the agency!

My journey began at the Beverly Hills Hotel, where I worked at the Polo Lounge and discovered my love of professional cooking. That passion eventually led me to San Diego, working with cookbook author Su-Mei Yu, apprenticing with Chef Larry, and ultimately becoming a private chef for a family.

In 2006, I started J Danielle with the idea of placing private chefs. But life had other plans! My very first placement was actually a housekeeper for a La Jolla estate, and that family became one of my longest-standing clients.

Twenty years later, I’m still doing what I love—connecting wonderful people with wonderful households.

Today, you’ll find me in Rancho Santa Fe Village, where J Danielle shares a home with my little household shop, The Household Company.

It’s been a winding road, but every opportunity led me exactly where I was meant to be. I’m so grateful for the clients, candidates, and friendships made along the way.

Senior Staffing Specialist | J Danielle Household Staffing

If you’ve worked with J Danielle over the years, chances are you’ve worked with Meghan.

Meghan has been an integral part of our team for more than a decade, helping private families and estates navigate one of the most personal decisions they make: who to trust in their home.

As our Senior Staffing Specialist, Meghan works closely with both clients and candidates throughout the placement process—from understanding the needs of a household and identifying qualified candidates to coordinating interviews, trials, references and the many details that go into making the right match.

Her background as an Executive Assistant gives her a unique understanding of organization, discretion, communication and the importance of finding someone who not only has the right experience, but truly fits the household.

What Meghan does especially well is something that can’t really be taught: she gets to know people. She understands that a successful placement isn’t simply about matching a résumé to a job description. It’s about personality, expectations, lifestyle and finding a relationship that can work for the long term.

J Danielle Household Staffing is seeking an experienced, proactive and detail-oriented Housekeeper for a private residence in Rancho Santa Fe, CA.
This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in maintaining a beautifully run home and is comfortable managing a variety of household responsibilities.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 hours per day
Compensation: $40–$45/hour
Start: ASAP
Live-out
Responsibilities include general and deep housekeeping, laundry and ironing, light meal prep, occasional errands. There is a dog in the home, so candidates should be comfortable working around pets.
