Teresa walked into Carroll’s Kitchen in 2017 ready to change her life & she never looked back!
Teresa was introduced to Carroll’s Kitchen through a friend she met while incarcerated. She joined our Restorative Employment Model committed to restarting her life and discovering who she was made to be.
In her own words:
“The tools that they gave me and the networks that they connected me with enabled me to not go back to prison, to not be put on parole, to not be homeless. Being at Carroll’s Kitchen gave me the opportunity to truly find myself. They empowered me to take charge over my life and to see challenges as opportunities. They believed in me and that helped me believe in myself.”
