Today is my dad Wilbur Weaver's 104th Birthday. He was like many of his generation, Hard Working, Believed in American Values, Supporting His Family and Helping his community. He was a WW2 Veteran and received 2 Field Promotions while serving at Iwo Jima. After the war he and my mom moved from PA to Washington, DC where he got a job with the Federal Trade Commission, starting as a Clerk/Typist and working is way up to News Director when he retired in 1978. He loved Sports and was a great basketball player. He also coached baseball and basketball for The Lewisdale Boys Club in Hyattsville, Maryland for many years. He would always take a "B Team" and turn it into a winner. Here is a picture of Dad at his Desk at the FTC, from when he was an Information Specialist.

The FB Police have chosen to punish me for posting the truth. All that appears on this page now are nice/fluffy animal posts, (which I like but are not from my profile. They had warned me a number of times that some of my posts do not meet "their community standards". The punishment, they have removed my Robert Weaver FB page and replaced it with HR for Hire, Inc. They also have wiped my 600+ friends off the new page. I don't expect this post to be up very long as FB does not like any criticism. I will probably be "warned" again after posting this.

Question: I am confused. Recently, about the last week of so, my Facebook account has been changed from Robert Weaver to HR FOR HIRE, Inc. I did nothing to initiate the change. Yes at one time I did own and operate HR FOR HIRE, Inc. but I shut down my S Corporation over a year ago, and now FB only show me under HR for Hire, Inc. I find no option to be able to speak or even chat with anyone at Facebook on the website. Can anyone give me some insights as to how to rememdy this situation? Thanks in advance.

It gives me great pleasure to announce I am now a Subject Matter Expert available for court cases. I am always surprised when a Small Business owner tells me of the problems they are having getting their employees to do their jobs. The questions I ask are: "1) Have you explained what their duties are and why they are important? 2) Have you provided training to your Supervisors as to how to address issues when they arise with employees?" Communication is Key. Both to employees and in helping Supervisors address deficiencies in performance.

Today Communication is immediate and it is in Cyberspace Forever. Companies need to protect themselves by having a Good Employee Handbook and Do Training for their Supervisors. One mistake Can Do major damage to Your Reputation.

When I meet with small business owners and explain the services I can help them with, the response is often: "I don't want to spend the money". However many times the same business owner ends up calling me back when something bad has already happened that I could have prevented. It is easier and less expensive to put preventative measures in place prior to bad experiences than it is to have to fix something that HAS ALREADY HAPPENED. It is just SIMPLE COMMON SENSE.
