🌟 What an incredible experience had by The Greer Group at the Conference in Litchfield Park, Arizona! 🌵

We have been busy implementing many things that we gleaned from all the sessions with our industry’s key leaders.

A few highlights!

🌟 Our friend, Barb Bruno, got real on some of the challenges we are all facing within the staffing world and how to effectively overcome them.

🌟 While Tom Erb gave solid advice on how to increase your volume by going back to some of the fundamentals in sales.

🌟 Our sales team danced the night away to the 80’s while making calls!

The Greer Group is hiring for Machine Operators for a client located in Fayetteville. These are 90 days temp to hire positions. 2nd shift 230-11pm M-F OT as needed.
There is a pay increase to $16.00/hr once hired on.

Duties:

Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle
Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)
Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines
Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
Test operation of machines periodically
Fix issues that might occur during the shift
Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
Maintain activity logs

Requirements:
Minimum of 6 months of recent machine operating experience
Steady work history
Ability to work OT as needed
Experience setting up machines preferred
Ability to read tape measure
Ability to read blue prints preferred

Description:

Sorting and Checking, Inspection, and Small Parts Assembly, Aiming.
Uses fingers or tools to perform one or more repetitive assembly operations to produce small, light-weight products.

Position Duties:

Participate in the management and engagement of the temporary employees.
Will determine applicant requirements by studying job descriptions and job qualifications.
Recruit, conduct interviews, make hiring decisions.
Perform new hire background and drug screening, and ensure I-9 compliance.
Responsible for new hire orientations and new hire onboarding paperwork.
Attendance tracking, assist with timesheet/ data for payroll, employee relations, conduct corrective action/counseling for any and all violations relating to policy and performance, performance reviews, monthly reporting on hours, budget, and turnover.
Responsible for worker’s comp management/investigation/reporting.
Ensure that all information is accurate for reporting purposes in an internal database and 3rd party sites.
Requirements:

Must have strong skills in MS Office suite and computerized HRIS/Database systems.
Bachelor’s degree preferred but strong experience with some college will be accepted.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of human resource, staffing, management, and/or on-site experience.
Experience in one of the following settings preferred: Manufacturing, production, assembly, warehouse, administrative.
Must be able to communicate with all levels of staff, multi-task, and change priority/focus at a moment’s notice, make decisions and lead client using consultative HR approach.
This position is for someone who is very flexible, has strong detail ability, and is self-motivated.

Compensation is base salary and performance-based bonuses!
