The Cost Accountant is the primary accounting and administrative support for a construction project, from project startup through final closeout. Performs activities related to contracts, bonds, insurance, payables, liens, billings, payroll/cost/budget reports and sustainability reporting for the jobsite management team.

Sr. Accountant Position

The Senior Accountant reports to the Controller and contributes to the integrity of accounting information, as well as, financial reporting through assisting in the recording, verifying, and entering of general ledger transactions.

Essential Functions & Duties:
Assist in monthly financial statements preparation including preparing various closing journal entries
• Perform month-end account reconciliations for general ledger accounts
• Update and maintain fixed asset ledgers
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
• Research financial and tax topics as needed
• Respond to inquiries from management as needed
• Assist with coordination of financial statement reviews
• Organize and maintain financial records and related data
• Support financial decision-making by collecting, analyzing, investigating and reporting financial data
• Contribute to accomplishing both accounting and organization mission by completing related tasks as needed

Qualifications & Skills:
