Responsible for visually inspecting, cleaning, labeling and packaging product in a Clean Room environment.

Under general supervision, assists with visual inspection, cleaning, packaging and labeling product according to customer specifications and Company clean room procedures
Follows established Glove and Gown protocols for Clean Room duties reporting any deviations to appropriate personnel to ensure product non-contamination
Receives and stages product for manufacturing into Clean Room following all procedures
Maintains cleaning tanks, walls, tables and fixtures in clean room following established Clean Room procedures
Accurately completes required nonconformance reports ensuring accurate records
Maintains and enforces entrance procedures of all controlled areas to ensure non-contamination of product; reports non-conformance to appropriate personnel
Assists other Clean Room personnel in the proper contamination control; seeks to minimize contamination by adhering to established containment procedures
Assists and/or performs in any and all areas as assigned
May work any and all shifts/days as required

• Read and interpret schematics (blueprints).
• Read and interpret work orders.
• Use basic hand tools such as tape measure and specialty equipment.
• Learn and operate all equipment within the work area (cell).
• Perform rework as required.
• Support APS (Altec Production System) initiatives. May participate in RCI events.
• Willing to move to other work areas in order to support production needs. (Cross-train).
• Install unit vehicle and/or chipper components and accessories.
• Testing of installed components.
• Basic mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and trouble shooting skills.
• Follow established safety, environmental and quality policies, procedures and practices.
• Maintain work area and shop tools/equipment.
• Maintain daily time records.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend required.

Responsibilities & Requirements

Machine parts and castings to close tolerances.
Work from layouts and dimensions on drawings, using indicators, height gauges, etc.
Load, align, set-up and operate machines per drawing instructions.
Unload and perform checks for quality.
Perform deburr casting/part, as required.
Maintain quality and quantity.
Maintain clean and orderly work area.
Follow all safety procedures.
Maintain records of production (route cards)
Enter data into computer
Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift
Ability to work overtime expected, to meet customer expectations

Preferred Experience / Skills

Proper use of shop arithmetic.
Possess strong mechanical ability.
Computer literate
Ability to read blueprints.
Knowledge of machining methods, cutting tools, cutting qualities of metals and overall manufacturing experience.
One to three years of machining experience or graduate of machining program.
One to three years experience in set-up and operation of CNC and Manual Lathe and Milling Machines.

Experience in the use of micrometers, Vernier calipers, overhead crane and hand tools

Responsibilities & Requirements

Remove visible dirt, grit oil, grease and other foreign matter from valve product parts, prior to assembly
Verify parts per bill of material and drawings. Assemble parts in proper sequence, as specified in the drawings or method specifications
Disassemble valve products to repair or replace defective materials or worn parts and make other repairs, as necessary. Usually under the direct supervisor of lead person or experienced co-worker.
Detect and report faulty equipment operation, defective materials and other unusual conditions to proper supervision.
Assist in complicated or unusual assembly and test operation under the supervision of lead or experience assembler.
Requires the use of judgment to plan, perform and to make decisions as to the sequence of set-ups operations or standard methods and procedures.

Preferred Experience / Skills

Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. Frequent lifting and moving of parts.
Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
Mechanically inclined
The ideal candidate will have a good work history (3-4 years minimum in one place) with
mechanical ability and willingness to learn
