Racine Creative Center The Racine Creative Center provides an experiential-based education and leadership path for teaching Simply to inspire, educate and create.

Our purpose is to facilitate and create an environment conducive to creative thinking, problem solving, and communication. Our participants are taught to think critically, collaborate with their peers and come up with creative solutions to problems working in typical design environments. Working with professionals who are real practitioners in the industry provides participants with role models an

d real life examples of what a design professional can do. Throughout our program, participants populate their own design portfolios with the work they complete in the classroom. These portfolios are theirs to keep and take with them to other educational programs and/or job opportunities. Through our partners, RCC is able to provide scholarship opportunities for those who want to move forward into a career. Even if these participants do not go on to pursue careers in the digital arts, they all begin to think about how important creativity is in the world and how important higher education is at an earlier stage. Sandbox@ introduces autistic students and their families to Island of Brilliance’s in-person versions of our three virtual Sandbox programs.

Participants will have the chance to learn, create, and connect with other students in a safe and supportive environment through art, storytelling, and STEaM-based projects. Each workshop is 90 minutes but we have a hunch it will go by in the blink of an eye as we’ve got an action-packed schedule.
