Medical Assistant: Portland, ME 04101
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Rooming a patient/After rooming a patient protocol
Opening rooms following safe and proper technique
Downloading reports
Mailing prep kits
Taking patient vitals
Sending daily schedule report to transcription service
Cleaning/Closing exam rooms
Downloading and entering PIFs from paper and through the portal
Assigning unassigned patients
Use of video interpretation machine
Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Medical Assistants Certificate or Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse License preferred.

HOURS OF OPERATION:
This position is scheduled Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm. Hours may vary, or change based on operational needs of the business
CONPENSATION:
$21 - $25 per hour depending upon experience
