People who know me have heard me share the story of a wonderful boss of mine who once shared the following feedback after observing me lead a meeting. " You had this look on your face like your shoes were too tight." Huh? Not only did I not know what she meant, but I also was clueless about the look on my face. She went on to explain to me about the importance of leaders having a "game face." a lesson I try to remember to this day.
