Therapy Source was founded in 2001 by the husband and wife team of Joshua and Stacey Cartagenova. As a school-based therapist herself, Stacey witnessed firsthand the overwhelming need for an organization that offered a staffing element, while simultaneously providing industry expertise and guidance. That vision is what has taken the company from a team of two working out of their home, to the 50+ (and growing!) team we are today.

This week, we lost an icon whose impact reached far beyond music.

Among Dolly Parton’s many contributions was her extraordinary commitment to childhood literacy. Through her Imagination Library, Dolly helped put books into the hands of millions of children and inspire a lifelong love of reading.

As students return to classrooms, now is the time to take a closer look at the systems that will support them throughout the year:
🍎 Are staffing gaps fully covered, including specialized roles?
📚 Are students receiving the services outlined in their IEPs from day one?
🤝 Do school teams have the support and resources they need to succeed?
📈 Is there a plan in place when needs shift or new gaps emerge?

The strongest school years aren’t built by reacting to challenges as they come. They’re built by anticipating needs, creating reliable support systems, and making sure every student can access the services they need to thrive.
A strong start matters, but so does having the right support in place for the entire year.
