October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. As we often work with oncology related practices within the infusion and specialty pharmacy industries, we would be remiss if we did not share a reminder that early detection saves lives. Through monthly self-exams and annual mammograms starting by age 40 or earlier for those at higher risk, early detection will allow for easier treatment and improve survival rates significantly.
