Job Details:
-Assumes duties of the regular District/School classroom teacher promptly and in accordance with school rules.
-Implement existing lesson plans in a manner that ensures the integrity of academic time, and motivates students to learn and participate.
-Instruct students regarding a variety of classroom topics/courses of instruction.
-Assign reasonable tasks and homework to students in accordance with the School District's lesson plans.
-Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students.
-Address the various learning styles of students accordingly.

Job Responsibilities:
-Present subject materials to students under the direction and guidance of a School District Teacher, but never have sole supervisory responsibility.
-Assist teacher(s) to reinforce learning concepts presented through lesson plans, individually and in small groups.
-Help grade homework and tests using answer sheets and other methods the school employs.
-Assist students in transition from regular classrooms to special needs classes as needed.
-Understand, address and be sensitive to the presented special needs of each student, recognizing differences in their abilities and cognitive levels.

Kelly Educational Staffing STILL has an immediate need for Crossing Guards in the Hazleton Area School District for the remainder of this school year and the upcoming school year! We are currently seeking 3-5 Crossing Guards for 2 schools within the district.

Job Summary-
Providing child pedestrian safety by facilitating safe passage of school children between intersections and high traffic streets.
Regulates children using the crossing to assure they conform to traffic regulations. Halt vehicles by waving the hand-held "Stop" sign to stop vehicular traffic, allowing students to cross street safely. Maintain order of students assembled at street crossing.
Make sound decisions with student safety in mind. Remain calm and professional in emergency situations.
Post Requirements (skills, experience, education, duration)

Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk during entire shift which may be in varying weather conditions.
- Visual insight is required for depth perception and observing general surroundings and activities.
- Possess the ability to give and follow oral instructions, establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, parents, school officials and law enforcement officials.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude.
- Availability to work mornings before school hours (7am-9am) and afternoons at school dismissal (2pm-4pm)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
