Administrative Assistant Needed
As Administrative Assistant to the President, you will be primarily responsible for maximizing the President’s time and promoting a positive company image. Through your duties as a liaison, you will maintain relationships between the President, his employees, and contractors. Additionally, you will keep company departments informed of important changes and internal company details as needed.
Administrative Assistant to the President Job Responsibilities
· Professionally represent the company President when greeting guests, organizing company events, reviewing correspondence, and responding to inquiries made to the President.
· Offer key guidance regarding historical precedent to executives.
· Complete special projects as assigned by the President. It may include creative problem-solving, progress oversight, working with multiple company staff, and extensive company research.
· Actively seek to improve professional skill sets and capabilities through active engagement in industry status, educational opportunities, and membership in relevant professional organizations.
· Maintain effective daily operations and make suggestions for process improvements when necessary. Provide support in various tasks to help organize and manage the office. These duties can include:
Communication: Answering phones, taking messages, and transferring calls
Scheduling: Scheduling appointments, meetings, and conferences, and updating calendars
Record keeping: Maintaining databases, filing systems, and meeting minutes
Writing: Preparing memos, invoices, reports, and documents, and drafting and proofing/editing communications
Other tasks: Handling mail and faxes, conducting surveys, and fiscal reviews.
