Jesus, thank You for who You are—steady, present, and unshaken. You are not hurried, not reactive, not overwhelmed by what feels heavy to me. You hold all things with wisdom and care, and I’m grateful that nothing I will face this week will catch You off guard.
And still, I can feel the pull to surge ahead—to grip, to anticipate, to carry what hasn’t even unfolded yet.
If I’m honest, it doesn’t come from trust—it comes from wanting to stabilize myself. But You are not asking me to brace my life on my own.
You are steady. You have already gone before me, and You are with me now. Nothing about this week surprises You.
So instead of trying to engineer my way into peace, I want to practice something different: staying rooted with You in the moment I’m actually living.
When my thoughts start racing ahead, gently draw me back—back to what is true, back to who You are.
When I feel scattered or stretched thin, help me recognize it—not with shame, but with awareness. Give me the courage to pause, to breathe deeply, and to ask, “What actually matters right now?”
Teach me to loosen my grip on what was never mine to carry and instead be faithful to what’s right in front of me—the conversation, the decision, the moment. Not five steps ahead—just here.
When I feel the urge to rush, react, or assume, slow me down long enough to listen for Your voice. Because peace isn’t something I achieve—it’s something I receive when I trust You.
So today, I’m opening my hands. Not clenching, not striving, not forcing outcomes—just walking closely with You.
You are faithful. You are near. You are trustworthy with every detail. I don’t step into this week alone—I walk it hand in hand with You 🤍
Learning how You walk, watching how You work— the living Water that will fuel, fortify, and faithfully sustain me.
What a life it is to be loved by You, Jesus!
YOU are the joy of it all.
