ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

At Level 1 operator will assemble part of any product using a single machine. Learn the machine thread.
Receive product pieces. Lean the order of pieces hanging.
Assemble per work instructions.
Return to work flow.
Practice energy conservation in every area such as turning off machine when not in use.
Anything else deemed necessary by the Supervisor.


AUTHORITY:

All personnel are responsible for quality and therefore have the authority to stop production, if necessary to correct quality problems.



SKILLS REQUIRED

Basic sewing skills to complete products.
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
Must be able to work in moderate noise environment.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must have 20/20 vision or corrected to 20/20.

Be able to stand full shift.

Be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Must be able to work in a moderate noise level.

Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.

Must be able to reach, stretch and bend.

Must be able to perceive colors and shades.

Under limited supervision is responsible for the operation of the computerized embroidery machines in order to prepare the designated pattern pieces or finished goods for the next step in the manufacturing process.
Embroidery product according to work order.
Maintain supplies.
Maintain templates for OEM's.
Complete daily production report.
Preventative maintenance on machines.
Clean work area.
Practice energy conservation in every area such as turning off machine when not in use.
Any other duties deemed necessary by the Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Under limited supervision, convert work order information into markers and cut data.
Convert main design blocks to pieces, name pieces and store.
Create markers for plotting, create cut data and export to cutter.
Clean up daily storage areas in computer.
Fix errors (in markers or part drawings (patterns)) as they occur or are discovered.
Work with cutting, sewing, design and engineering departments when needed to resolve specific issues relevant to patterns and markers, cut parts, and sew ability.
Prepare patterns.
Create markers.
Plot markers for Q.A. verification of the pattern.
Plot patterns and/or minis as needed.
Any other assignments as deemed necessary by the supervisor.


AUTHORITY:

All personnel are responsible for quality and therefore have the authority to stop production, if necessary to correct quality problems.


SKILLS REQUIRED:

Computer literate.
Strong math skills.
Must be able to read and write English.
Must be detail oriented.
Must have good problem solving skills.
Must be analytical and able to visualize outcome based on analysis.
Puzzle solving skills a major advantage.


PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE:

Previous experience with CAD equipment (Ge**er or comparable) or ability to be trained successfully on equipment.
AutoCAD experience a big plus
Cutting and/or sewing background.
