☀️ Happy Tuesday from Bruce Temporary Services!

A safe shift starts with you! 👷‍♂️📋

Today’s safety tip: Watch for spilled resin pellets. In a polymers warehouse, those tiny pellets can create a big slip hazard.

✅ Start your shift with a walkthrough of aisles, loading areas, and bag-handling stations.
✅ Keep people clear of spills and follow your site’s cleanup procedures.
✅ Before handoff, confirm hazards are corrected and communicate anything still needing attention.

Shift Leads: Make this part of your morning huddle: “See a spill? Speak up immediately.” 🗣️

Lead by example. Look out for your team. Make every shift a safe one. 💙

🚧 WAREHOUSE SAFETY WEDNESDAY! 🚧

📦 SHIPPING & RECEIVING: SAFETY STARTS AT THE DOCK! 🚛

A busy loading dock means constant movement, tight spaces, and heavy loads. One small oversight can lead to a serious accident!

🦺 5 SAFETY REMINDERS FOR SHIPPING & RECEIVING:

🚛 SECURE Before You Load! – Make sure trailers are properly secured with wheel chocks or dock restraints before loading or unloading.

📦 Stack It Right! – Keep loads stable, balanced, and within safe weight limits.

👀 Watch Your Surroundings! – Stay alert for forklifts, pallet jacks, and coworkers moving through the area.

🚶 Keep Pathways Clear! – Remove debris, loose shrink wrap, and empty pallets to prevent trips and falls.

✋ Never Assume You’re Seen! – Make eye contact with equipment operators and maintain a safe distance.

💡 REMEMBER: Getting the shipment out on time is important. Getting everyone home safely is the priority!
