It has become an annual tradition in Park Ridge to hold an Employee Appreciation Luncheon, and it is customary for the Mayor Misciagna to spend some time at the grill as a way of expressing gratitude to our employees making burgers and hot dogs for all. This year, he was joined by Councilman Metzdorf, who helped with the grilling, and Councilman Hoffman, who stopped to show his support and appreciation for all Borough employees.

We are fortunate to have such dedicated employees who work hard every day to serve our residents and ensure the smooth operation of the Borough. Their commitment, professionalism, and hard work are deeply appreciated.

A special thank you to the Vozza Agency for helping us achieve Platinum Status and for their ongoing commitment to employee safety through monthly safety meetings, inspections, and compliance checks. Their partnership plays an important role in maintaining a safe workplace and fostering a strong culture of safety throughout the Borough.

We would also like to congratulate Nick Underwood, our Park Ridge Senior Intern, who has been a tremendous help to us throughout the past school year. We are grateful for his hard work, dedication, and contributions to the Borough. We wish Nick the very best of luck as he begins this exciting new chapter at University of Oxford next year. We know he will do great things and make our community proud.

Thank you to all of our Borough employees for everything you do. Your dedication to our residents and community does not go unnoticed and is sincerely appreciated. Together, you help make Park Ridge a wonderful place to live, work, and visit!

Last night, Jim Hespe, on behalf of the Green and Shade Tree Committee, presented Mayor Misciagna and the whole Park Ridge Council with a plaque recognizing Park Ridge as a Tree City USA community! This is a tremendous accomplishment and one that requires years of dedication, planning, environmental stewardship, and a strong commitment to preserving and growing our community’s tree canopy.

This recognition is a true testament to the hard work and commitment of the Green Team and Shade Tree, along with the support of their Green Team Council Liaison Councilman Hoffman throughout the process. Their collective efforts help make Park Ridge a greener, healthier, and more beautiful community for generations to come.
