It is with great pride and mixed emotions that I announce my transition from my current recruiting role to becoming a Battalion Career Counselor tomorrow. As I close one chapter and begin another, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone for their trust and confidence in me as I guided the young men and women of our community.

This journey wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering support of teachers, staff, faculty, and parents from all around. Your rallying behind me has been instrumental in our success.

I’m pleased to introduce SSG Smothermon, who will be taking over my recruiting area. SSG Smothermon upholds the same values and morals I strived to embody, and I am confident in his ability to continue caring for this community.

What an incredible night we had with Warrior Wrestling Alliance!!! Had the opportunity to speak with a lot of our community, enjoy a great show with a great group, and above all partner up with the VFW/American Legion/Warrior Wrestling Alliance to give back to our community! Thank you to everyone that helped and thank you to our wrestlers for coming out and putting on an amazing show!!! Had an incredible opportunity at yesterday, got to promote one of my Soldiers for exceptional academic performance! achieved 27 College Semester Credit Hours, is just a couple weeks from graduating High School, then leaves for BCT 10 days later! Thank you to Palestine High School, teachers, and staff for assisting with the surprise event! I had the honor of having her dad LTC (R) Mann present and able to promote his daughter! She is a great example of drive, perseverance, and dedication to success! Congratulations PV2 Sarah Mann, i can’t wait to see what you achieve in your career! To be part of your journey brings great pride to me and my small part. The Athletics department and student athletes joined to support their assistant trainer, she’s going to continue her journey in the medical field as a 68w as well!
