I have been honored to be interviewed by Owensboro Times about my children's book on adoption, "You Grew In Our Hearts!" This book is designed and inspired to help adoptive children and their family members, including extended family members, understand the concept of adoption.

Our children should never be ashamed that we became a family through adoption. Even though as family members and parents, we want to protect our children, it can be scary. But when we don't openly discuss adoption, it lets our children know that it is something to be kept secret.

I'll be sure to let you know when the article comes out!
