This area in front of Federated Insurance on South Oak Avenue typically floods when we get heavy rain. This time, it was much higher than usual. It also wasn't going anywhere since it was standing water. Luckily I drove around it!

A series of photographs taken today showcase the storm's impact across various locations, including north of Mason City, Iowa, to west of Grafton, Iowa, Austin, MN, and near Pratt, MN. Notably, a prominent shelf cloud and rotating wall cloud were documented. The challenges posed by fallen branches on roadways were also highlighted, along with efforts to clear the roads and prevent accidents. The Austin, MN area exhibited considerable flooding, with the Cedar River in a state of heightened turbulence. As the storm concluded, its final moments were captured on camera as the sun dipped below the horizon.
