A Delta flight from Las Vegas to Atlanta got an unexpected passenger upgrade… just not an authorized one.
Shortly after takeoff, a cat managed to escape its carrier in the back of the plane and casually made its way up the aisle.
Destination?
First Class.
According to a viral video, the cat slipped under a seat up front and refused to move, while two flight attendants tried to coax it out.
Passengers watched as crew members basically had to negotiate with the cat, which clearly seemed to believe it belonged there.
Eventually, the feline was picked up and escorted back to its seat in economy… looking very unimpressed.
The moment quickly went viral, with hundreds of thousands of views—and even Delta joking online:
“An upgraded seat? Don’t mind if I do.”
For context, Delta does allow small pets in the cabin, but they’re supposed to stay inside a secured carrier for the entire flight.
This time, the only disruption was a very confident cat testing out First Class… before being sent back.
