Job Description:
Performs a variety of hand oriented duties that may include any or all of the following: unloading product cards, packages, bows, tissue, etc. from a conveyor, table, etc. and placing on a skid, in stock boxes, on fixtures or cartons. May pull and grip cards from a large sheet or single levels. May feed batch heads or operate manual equipment. May assist in production of envelopes by tending the press, feeding envelope blanks and boxing completed envelopes. May set up and operate label machines to provide a variety of printed labels. Incumbent is responsible for assisting with make ready, checking for production quality, preventive maintenance and handling required paperwork. Responsible for reporting production related information and cleaning the equipment and work area. May assemble and pack various display units. May read and follow store floor plans and merchandising instructions. Positively participates in performance
Education Requirement: At Minimum completion of High School Diploma or G.E.D., unless specified that a higher level of education is required for the position or stated otherwise in the job description.

Greeting Card Production/Distribution Center

Currently looking for production or warehouse individuals to fill temporary contract positions with a local greeting card company in Leavenworth, KS. Interested candidates should have a year of Warehouse experience and be physically able to perform job duties.

· The Production Support Specialist performs a variety of roles which may include jogging stock, stacking product, keeping production lines supplied with stock and supplies, changing materials/stock on equipment, assembling cartons, packing product into cartons, moving boxes to skids, labeling cartons, assisting the press operator with make-readies and press clean-ups

· Operates skid inverting machine to turn stock prior to processing and converting

· The Production Support Specialist uses hand or power walkie transport equipment to perform their job functions. Completes required paperwork and/or computer input on specific SAP screens

Qualifications and Skills

Previous experience working in a physically demanding job in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and ability to work in a team
Must have GED or High School Diploma
· Ability to grasp, lift and carry product weighing 20 – 50 lbs. frequently and up to 60 lbs. occasionally.

· Need to be able to lift/stack 20 – 50 lb carton throughout the shift – as much as 150 times in one shift

Verifies patient information by interviewing patient, recording medical history, and confirming purpose of visit.
Prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature; and reporting patient history summary.
Saves doctors’ time by helping with office procedures.
Secures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records; completing diagnostic coding and procedure coding; and keeping patient information confidential.
Counsels patients by transmitting physician’s orders and questions about surgery.

Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt.
Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
Serves and protects the practice by adhering to professional standards; facility policies and procedures; and federal, state, and local requirements.
