A new step toward expanding housing opportunities in Winnebago County! 🎉🏘️

Winnebago County has selected GOEDC to support the development, implementation, and administration of the new Housing Development Revolving Loan Fund, a $4.5M initiative designed to help accelerate housing development through low-interest gap financing and public-private partnerships.

Housing plays a critical role in workforce attraction, business growth, and building strong communities, and we’re proud to support this important countywide effort!

🎉 Innovation Foundry Cohort 1 officially wrapped up! 🎉

Over the past 8 weeks, businesses, students, and community partners came together through the Innovation Foundry to turn ideas into action. Through hands-on workshops, AI-powered tools, dedicated student support, and expert mentorship, participants developed real strategies and launch-ready plans to help move their businesses forward.

GOEDC was proud to help launch the Innovation Foundry alongside the UW–Oshkosh Small Business Development Center, creating a collaborative program designed to support innovation and business growth across the region.

“The Innovation Foundry is exactly the kind of collaborative, action-oriented program our entrepreneurial ecosystem needs. One of our biggest goals as ecosystem partners has been creating a more connected and streamlined experience for entrepreneurs, helping businesses understand where to start and ensuring they have access to the right people, resources, and support along the way.

Over these past eight weeks, we not only watched businesses turn ideas into tangible plans, but we also worked together as partners to better identify the gaps entrepreneurs face and how we can continue building innovative solutions to support their success here in Oshkosh and Winnebago County.”
