The 10th-16th of May is Mental Health Awareness week with this years theme surrounding the importance of connecting with
nature and promoting '5 Ways to Well Being' which are:

1. Connect
2. Be Active
3. Take Notice
4. Keep Learning
5. Give

Either working from home or being in a workplace can make us switch off to things around us, and the '5 Ways to Well Being' highlights these areas we often forget about. We all have busy lives, but stopping to ask someone if they're okay could take a weight off their shoulders.

How to be an active candidate in the financial market:

Your CV is highlighting you! Use it to get the jobs you want, rather than jobs you have previously done. Really sell yourself, look at the challenges you have faced and express the actions you took to achieve the desired result.

Though there's a lot of uncertainty surrounding the economy, there are some areas which are growing so target those areas actively.

Join groups on LinkedIn. This way of networking during Covid-19 allows you to keep up to date with those in your field and allows you to make new connections. Be active, not passive in this job market.

Apply for jobs, but the right jobs. It is better to apply for the right jobs rather than a vague net wide search that is not specific to your CV.
