Job Title: Etching Technician – Entry Level
$22 Per Hour
7AM-4:30PMCST
Auburn AL
Job Summary:
The Etching technician will operate and maintain laser engraving machines to produce high-quality engravings on various materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate laser engraving machines to produce high-quality engravings on various materials, including wood, metal, and glass.
- Set up and adjust laser engraving machines to ensure accurate and precise engravings.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and adjust as necessary.
- Maintain laser engraving machines by cleaning and performing routine maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and repair laser engraving machines as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure production goals are met.
- Keep accurate records of production and inventory.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating laser engraving machines or printing experience.
- Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Work Schedule 7:00 am – 4:00 pm ((1) hour lunch) with the possibility of OT due to product demand.
