We are seeking friendly, reliable Survey Representatives to conduct in-person surveys with passengers along designated bus routes at Bakersfield College, Downtown and Southwest. Representatives will ride assigned buses, approach riders courteously, and collect feedback to support transportation planning and service improvements. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with the public and are comfortable working throughout transit environments.

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
Location: Various bus routes/transit stops at Bakersfield College, Downtown and Southwest, California
Employment Type: Full-Time Project
Schedule: Various schedules with potential for overtime

Key Responsibilities

Ride assigned bus routes and travel between transit stops as scheduled
Approach bus riders in a professional and respectful manner
Administer short surveys accurately using paper forms or electronic devices
Clearly explain the purpose of the survey and obtain participant consent
Record responses accurately while maintaining data confidentiality
Meet daily or weekly survey completion targets
Follow all safety, transit authority, and company guidelines
Report any issues or incidents to a supervisor promptly
Qualifications

Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable sitting, standing, walking, and riding buses for extended periods
Ability to work independently and follow instructions
Reliable and punctual for the duration of the project
Preferred Skills & Experience

Outgoing personality
Multilingual abilities (a plus, but not required)
Ability to keep track of provided supplies
Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Work takes place primarily on public buses and at transit stops
Must be able to stand, walk, and carry light materials throughout shifts
Exposure to varying weather conditions when traveling between stops

BBSI has partnered with Logistics company in Ontario, CA.

Bilingual English & Mandarin Coordinator / Dispatcher who can schedule dispatch a mix of 60+ weekly shipments and Company Drivers with multiple loads to and from the ports. This position is also responsible for customer email traffic regarding capacity and supporting the tracking team when time permits.

Multi-Tasking, phone, and computer skills are an absolute must.

Required to be able to speak English & Mandarin in order to communicate effectively with many of our drivers and freight forwarders.

Requirements: English & Mandarin

Job Type: Full-time- Temp to Hire

Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour- (D.O.E)

Schedule:

8 hour shift
Day shift - 7am/8am start time
Monday to Friday

Preferred Requirements (Optional)
Experience in the 3PL industry.
Familiar with high volume operation.
Able to communicate through emails and telephone.
Forklift experience (Cherry/Order picker, sit-down, standup, and pallet rider)
