Construction Oversight:

UAS (Drones) are one of the latest tools available for managing construction Projects. They have the capability of providing a total site overview and a time dated record of the progress of a site/project. Not only can they provide a digital record of the progress, they confirm conditions at a point in time that might be needed to answer questions, complaints, provide defense against lawsuits and compliance with construction plans and barriers for construction fences, erosion mitigation; fences, silt ponds, protection to storm drain entrances. Such photographic records can be used as supporting evidence for construction advances, documenting received & stored materials. We have the capability of ghosting previously captured views overlaid by a current view showing changes. Always an item of importance is the excess & deficiency of fill material which, with advanced knowledge, can lead to developing a plan for balancing with other area construction activity. While we are not licensed surveyors, nor can we certify any stockpiles or excavation cuts, we can estimate surplus and deficiencies of a site. Supplemental to this cover, you will find attached:
(1) Aerial Map of an Omaha development site;

2) Illustrated example of using Drone Data to estimate the quantity of fill material stored:

(1) You will note on this Aerial Map the important elements: those that could become contentious to surrounding developed property, installed drainage ponds and mitigation measures taken for erosion, construction fences, access roads and as a developer, the condition of installed infrastructure which could be damaged with a need to seek reimbursement for repair/ replacement. (2) Illustrative of determining a quantity of fill material is the second attachment which shows (17) dump truck size loads of material which is commonly known to be approximately (10) yard each or in this case, about 170 cuyds. Covid-19 has been a challenge for us in 2020 with so many working from home but, we are still operating and seeking opportunities in Aerial Documentation of Construction sites and Commercial Properties for Management. With increased vacancies in commercial space, what always was that dreaded call by a tenant as to a problem, now is coming less frequently, however in many cases the problem is just not getting reported and as time goes on, it may mean expensive repairs. Using UAS (Drones) to document the physical condition of a property keeps tabs on the visible. As a means of cost control whether be it a reduction in staff or quarantined employees, our services can fill in and document conditions which with follow up, can chart the direction of changes and the documentation of work that may need to be done to maintain the property in a leasable condition. Here is a recent example.
