😊 Great reminder from last night that kindness and results were never actually competing with each other.
EO Nebraska brought in Shola Richards for a session called "Strong Enough to Be Kind," and it hit on something a lot of leaders quietly struggle with: the pressure to choose between being a good person and driving real performance.
Shola's answer was refreshingly simple, laid out in three pillars: Start Within, Just Today, and Go First. Less theory, more "here's what you can actually do on Monday morning."
Rob Buffington helped bring this one to the chapter in his role as EO Nebraska's Learning Chair, and by the reactions in the room, it landed.
People left with real tools, not just a good feeling that fades by Wednesday.
Thanks, Shola Richards, for the reminder that kindness isn't the opposite of high performance. Done right, it's what makes high performance sustainable.
