This month, we're proud to spotlight The AED Foundation, the Gold Sponsor of our Bowties & Blueprints Gala.

The AED Foundation is working to close the equipment industry's technician shortage. It accredits college equipment technology programs, recognizes high school diesel technology programs, and connects students with rewarding careers at equipment dealerships across North America.

Through its Gold-level partnership, The AED Foundation is helping SkillsUSA Washington students gain hands-on experience, build confidence, and see the career pathways available to them in the skilled trades.

We are one month away from Bowties & Blueprints!

On Thursday, November 5, we're gathering at Pioneer Park Pavilion in Puyallup for SkillsUSA Washington's 2nd annual gala, an evening dedicated to closing the CTE funding gap for students across our state. Guests will enjoy a dinner prepared by SkillsUSA culinary students, hear stories from the students their support reaches, and take part in our silent and live auctions.

The All Regional Hosts Meeting is one week away!

New for 2026, SkillsUSA Washington is hosting a virtual meeting to walk schools through the regional competition hosting process. Attendance is required for confirmed regional hosts, and anyone interested in hosting a competition is encouraged to attend.

Join us Tuesday, October 6, from 4:00–6:00 PM to learn about financial planning and reimbursement, material purchasing, securing judges, competition best practices, score reporting, and more.
