We are looking for qualified Shipping Clerks in the Byhalia, MS area. This is a 2nd Shift 4:00 pm - 2:30 am Mon-Thurs. Starting pay $17.50!!!

Responsibilities of the position include: The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for performing other warehouse tasks as assigned by the Shipping Lead or Operations Supervisor. This person shall be responsible for accurately completing all shipping documentation and/or all computer system entries.
• The shipping clerk may also receive orders from the Distribution Specialists and sorts orders for filing by priority.
• The ability to prioritize is essential for this position as the shipping clerk ensure that “hot” orders are handled first and informs the supervisor of any issues with orders.
• The ability to communicate effectively in person and via e-mail is important.
• Other duties as assigned.

What’s a typical day as a Shipping Clerk? You’ll be:
o Assist in maintaining inventory integrity/accuracy by posting and researching movement ticket
o Perform daily cycle counts in the distribution center
o Perform the clerical duties of filing and preparing Excel worksheets for inventory related data
o Logically solve problems to help in inventory accuracy
o Monitor assigned areas of the warehouse for damaged product/pallets
o Must be able to work in a team environment
o Candidate must be able to work weekends and/or extended hours during busy periods of the year.
o Other duties as assigned by Distribution Management team
