Cats or Dogs?

Both! My dog (Mulligan) keeps life fun and full of energy, while my cat (Archie) ensures I never forget who’s really in charge.

What’s something on your bucket list?

I would love to take my mom on her dream vacation to Europe and spend a few weeks going to museums, touring historical sites, and having a blast.

What superpower do you with you had?

I wish I had the superpower to understand and speak every language fluently. Imagine how much cooler traveling would be!

What’s something on your bucket list?

One of the top things on my bucket list is to visit Lake Louise in Alberta, Canada. I’d love to hike the nearby trails, canoe across the lake, or just sit with a book. It feels both adventurous and calming. The perfect place to relax and recharge.

Favorite day of the year?

My favorite day of the year is November 1st. It feels like the official start of the holiday season, with Thanksgiving and Christmas just around the corner. The weather is usually perfect, and it’s the ideal time to start baking and enjoying all the cozy traditions.

What’s something on your bucket list?
I want to see every NHL team play in person! I am a huge hockey fan (Go Leafs!) and would love to have the opportunity to see all 32 teams play and even visit some new arenas in different cities.
Best gift you’ve ever gotten?
The best gift I’ve ever received was a basket of goodies and a note from my younger sister asking me to be her Maid of Honor. She’s one of my best friends, so the gesture was incredibly special and definitely brought happy tears!

We took a little bit of a break from our “Meet the Team” series last week, but are back this week to shine the spotlight on Aspen Beedle, our Senior Tech Recruiter who is skilled in all areas of serving candidates and clients!

Here are some fun facts about Aspen:

Cats or dogs?
Neither – I’m not an animal person…much to the despair of my children that are always asking when we can get a pet. Sorry kids!
One thing people don’t know about you?
I’m deaf in my left ear. I always have been. Despite this I played piano and violin growing up.
Favorite day of the year?
The first day in the spring that the weather is sunny and gets to about 70°. I immediately need to sit on a patio.
What superpower do you wish you had?
I wish I never physically needed to sleep. If I had an extra 7-8 hours when the rest of my house was asleep, I could get so much done! I could learn a new language, do all my hobbies, hit the gym, and finally catch up on all the guilty pleasure reality shows!

Aspen is truly a please to have on the team and your go-to if you’re looking for a new role in OKC’s booming tech space!
