This week we’re highlighting contract-to-hire Prior Authorization Representative opportunities with a fast-growing specialty pharmacy in the Chicago suburbs!

This hybrid role is based out of Elk Grove Village, Illinois, with onsite training followed by 2 days per week in office after training is completed. Pay for this opportunity is $23 per hour.

In this role, you’ll support prior authorization workflows, work directly with insurance plans and physician offices, validate clinical documentation, and help ensure timely approvals for patients.

While a pharmacy tech license is NOT required, the hiring team has stressed that candidates absolutely must have the following experience:
✅ Experience with Major Medical Insurance
✅ Experience with Pharmacy Benefits
✅ Working knowledge of HCPCS J-Codes and ICD-10 Diagnosis Codes

The team is moving quickly and looking for candidates who can thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and multitasking skills.
