Large warehouse with locations in Norwalk, Cerritos and Santa Fe Springs needs Warehouse Workers for all shifts! You could be involved in performing a variety of tasks including material handling, packaging, shipping, stocking, picking, inventory and related activities. Along with your team members, you would also help ensure production quotas are met timely while observing the highest standards of safety and quality. Primary Duties and Responsibilities can include:
• Reliably pull and process orders, logging items as required
• Accurately restock incoming items, logging items as required
• Check all incoming and outgoing orders for accuracy
• File requests for necessary items when stock is low
• Perform inventory control checks
• Use equipment properly and maintain it as needed
• Keep neat and orderly records of incoming and outgoing orders
• Promptly report any order discrepancies or issues to management
• Routinely move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Maintain clean and hazard free work area
• Follow instructions regarding daily tasks and job duties
• Must become familiar with and adhere to all workplace safety rules and regulations
Preferences, Requirements and Qualifications:
• Experience in warehouse work or related field(s)
• Basic computer skills needed for inventory control positions
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work at a pace required to meet deadlines
• Ability to adapt to changes or modifications in the way work is done
• Ability to work effectively as a member of a team
• Must be conscientious and pay attention to detail
• Availability to work required shifts and hours
• Upon hire, it may be necessary to submit to a drug test and/or criminal background check
• Upon hire, proof of identity and U.S. employment eligibility is required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
