The Chippewa Lake Water Ski Show Team is Ohio's only competitive water ski show team. Their "home lake" is in Medina, 1/2 hour from Cleveland and Akron metro areas. The Team is actively recruiting new members, and if interested please visit our website www.chippewaskiteam.com to learn more. ces and enthusiasm are all that is needed to join. The spring, summer and early fall are full of skiing for singles and families who want to learn or improve their skills. Hour long shows are provided all summer long, 7 PM at Emerald Lake 3196 Clark Mill Road, Norton, Ohio and are free to the public. Practices occur in the evenings and on weekends. There is a Show team which competes, and a Developmental team for younger and newer skiers. The Developmental team also produces two shows a year. The winter provides a great time to get acquainted with the Team, and learn the basics of show skiing during regularly scheduled indoor practices. There is something for everyone: strength, speed and beauty are all part of this sport. Consequently, there are many types of water skiing: slalom, barefoot, doubles, swivel, ballet, wakeboard, jumps, hydrofoil, tricks and show skis. Come find out more!

That’s a wrap on our Wednesday night shows for the season. 🥹
Last night was one of those nights that had ALL the feels. A little bittersweet, a lot of gratitude, and so much love for this crazy thing we get to do.
To our small-but-mighty crowd who came out and spent the evening with us: THANK YOU. And to everyone who joined us at a show, cheered us on, brought friends, shared a post, or simply hung out with us somewhere along the way this season—we appreciate you more than you know. ❤️
And of course, a huge THANK YOU to our incredible sponsors for helping make these nights possible. We truly couldn’t do it without you.

Our annual First Responders Show is one of the most meaningful nights of our season. It’s our chance to celebrate the people who serve our community with courage, compassion, and selflessness—often putting others before themselves.

To all of our firefighters, police officers, EMTs, dispatchers, and first responders: come let us thank YOU. ❤️

As a small token of our appreciation, first responders will be gifted a FREE team T-shirt. You give so much to our community, and we want to give something back.

Teddy just landed a BIG first — his very first flip off the jump! 🤙 We couldn’t be more excited to celebrate this milestone with him!

Paige brought home 2nd PLACE IN THE NATION in BOTH Individual AND Swivel Pairs! 🥈🥈

We couldn’t be prouder of our incredible star—and our show director—who has poured so much heart, talent, and leadership into this team. ❤️
