Position Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse assigned, performs a variety of direct patient care activities in caring for the personal needs and comforts of the patient. Key Responsibilities: Provides care that addresses the specific needs of age groups from infant to elderly as well as accommodating a variety of needs specific to impairments such as hearing, sight, substance abuse, language barriers, and potential victims of abuse. Incorporates knowledge and understanding of our commitment to patient rights, exceptional care and the company's values and mission into his/her performance of job duties. Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality at all times. Required Knowledge & Skills: Knowledge of medical terminology is required. Ability to communicate effectively in English
with staff and clients is required. Must be able to prioritize multiple requests to ensure timeliness and provide exceptional client care. Must possess the skills to be compassionate, empathetic and responsive to the needs of a variety of patients. Education: A High school diploma or equivalent is required. Experience: Must possess a minimum of one-year experience as a nursing assistant. Certification/Licensure: Must possess a valid Massachusetts Certified Nursing Assistant license.
