Surge Force, a staffing company, currently holds a facility clearance which enables us to provide different levels of personnel to job sites that require a security clearance. Surge Force also has the capabilities to test and certify personnel in different welding processes and procedures - i.e. SMAW/ Stick, FCAW/Flux Core, GTAW/Pipe Welding, and Silverbraze. Furthermore we make sure to have all

our personnel trained in the following areas to ensure each of our employee's stay safe for themselves, their family, and their co-workers. Training required: WAF training, 10 hour OSHA, Bloodborne Pathogens, Hazardous Materials, Electrical Safety, Hearing Protection, PPE, Slip Trips and Falls, Lockout Tagout, Sexual Harassment, VSRA and much more.

If you have 20 or fewer full-time employees, you need to know that a new federal law took effect on January 1, 2024. The new law, beneficial ownership reporting, requires small business owners to register personal information in a federal database through the U.S. Treasury Department’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN). Failure to register will result in significant fines and civil and criminal penalties.

NFIB actively opposed this new requirement and continues to fight for a repeal of the law. Now there is legislation, the Repealing Big Brother Overreach Act, to repeal the legislation that created the reporting requirement for over 32 million small business owners.
