Test Technician Department: Manufacturing Engineering
Reports To: Design Engineer
Objective: The Test Technician is responsible for performing the set-up calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits and assemblies.

Responsibilities:
 Performs standard testing processes on a variety of electronic products and subassemblies for functionality or quality.  Troubleshoot problems with equipment, devices, or products.
 Able to record test results and maintain all applicable documentation.
 Requires knowledge of industry specific tests and testing equipment.
 Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures.
 Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
 Performs a variety of tasks as assigned. Working Conditions:
 The Test Technician works in an office environment and/or on the production floor. Skills and Specifications:
 Must possess excellent soldering skills

Cable Wire Assembler
Reports to: Supervisor
Responsibilities:
Perform quality checks for daily activities such as mechanical assembly, cable wiring, and etc. in a group under the supervisor's vision. Wire the panels by following the provided point-to-point drawings. Follow work instructions and understand drawings. Have to use tools such as power drill and Panduit's Crimper to layout parts and crimp wires respectively. Lift SIS cable and wired panels that could weigh up 100 lbs. Organize individual tool kit and cable area and maintain a safe working environment. Capture daily or per panel work log and give it to the supervisor. Must be able to work efficient and communicate well within the group.
Minimum Educational/Qualifications:
Must read and understand drawings (point-to-point connections)
Must be able to read and follow work instructions
Experience with hand tools such as screw driver, drills, crimpers, wire stripper, and etc.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs packages
Must be able to record work logs
Must have reliable transportation
Experience with PC, Microsoft Word, and Excel is a Plus.
Previous experience in cable and wiring assembly is a plus.
Must be a team player

1) Melts and applies solder along adjoining edges of workpieces to solder joints, using soldering iron, gas torch, or electric-ultrasonic equipment.

2) Grinds, cuts, buffs, or bends edges of workpieces to be joined to ensure snug fit, using power grinder and hand tools.

3) Removes workpieces from molten solder and holds parts together until color indicates that solder has set.

4) Cleans workpieces, using chemical solution, file, wire brush, or grinder.

5) Cleans tip of soldering iron, using chemical solution or cleaning compound.

6) Melts and separates soldered joints to repair misaligned or damaged assemblies, using soldering equipment.

7) Applies flux to workpiece surfaces in preparation for soldering.

8) Heats soldering iron or workpiece to specified temperature for soldering, using gas flame or electric current.
9) Able to follow instructions and company Policies

Skills/Qualifications:
Basic Soldering skills
IPC 610 Knowledge is a Plus
J Standards knowledge is also a Plus

Use of measuring tools such as a micrometer and other tools for the performance of Incoming Materials Inspection is a plus.

Maintain records of testing, information and various metrics such as number of defective products per day for recording supplier performance.
