Software Engineer – React
This is a long-term contract position, helping to develop an enterprise software product for the worker's compensation industry.
Responsibilities
• Coding feature requests for existing applications
• Developing user interfaces for Web-based applications
• Designing and implementing Web APIs
• Information gathering on processes and applications that make up our application suite
• Triaging issues with active systems
• Engaging in work planning/estimation meetings
• Analyzing feature requests and requirements
• Creating technical designs using modern architectural techniques
• Writing production-ready code in support of the product features
• Automating build and deploy pipelines
• Creating unit and integration tests
• Testing, debugging, and documenting new and existing applications
• Participating in design sessions with the technology team
Required Skills & Abilities:
• ReactJS – strong understanding of the React component model, context, and utilization of stores (mobx, redux, etc) as well as build tools like webpack and Babel
• Web and application development experience with ASP.NET MVC; ASP.NET WebApi; C #
• Understanding of basic protocols that enable distributed apps: HTTP/HTTPS, SSL, OpenId, SAML 2, SFTP
• Some understanding of IIS and windows web hosting
• Strong analytical skills, along with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Must demonstrate the ability to collaborate with various cross functional teams; Business, Operations, Sales and Product
Required Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 2+ years related experience

Essex Engineering is a long-time well-established Machine /Fabrication shop located in Lynn Massachusetts. We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager

Responsibilities include:

· Overall direction of our Quality Management System.

· Working directly with our manufacturing departments

· Monitoring and improving the quality of our production processes and finish goods. This includes developing and improving quality standards with respect to raw materials, process controls, and finished goods.

· Provide support and guidance to the quality inspectors

· Oversee the companies QMS, including verifying all processes are being followed properly, maintain all quality records, and lead ongoing quality meetings with management team on status of all ongoing quality topics

· Create inspection documentation and oversee validations for all new product introduction

· Conduct quality audits of all manufacturing processes to identify and report non-compliance issues.

· Develop and manage KPI's as part of continuous improvement to identify and evaluate opportunities Provide guidance to suppliers to ensure consistency of quality and delivery that align with company needs

· Oversee and maintain all records regarding the disposition of nonconforming material (internal & customer supplied)

· Communicate directly with customers regarding all quality topics

Prerequisites skills needed:

· Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and critical thinking skills
The ability to work well, independently, or within a team
Strong working knowledge of ISO standards and compliance

· Ability to interpret customer drawings and Specifications

· Demonstrated experience developing and supporting Quality Standards that drive continuous improvement.

· Organization / Prioritization skills.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Good working knowledge of Excel and Reporting

Education / Certifications Required:
Quality related certifications
